We are now searching for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team and lead various RnD projects. In this role, you will be pivotal in designing, developing, and implementing innovative mechanical systems. You will be part of a team handling the entire design process from prototyping to final product development. As a senior team member, you will engage in hands-on design work and mentor junior engineers. Your expertise will be crucial in interfacing with customers and stakeholders to meet and exceed project requirements.

What you’ll do:

Design and development of mechanical systems from prototype to production-ready design, ensuring high standards of performance, reliability, and efficiency.

• Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical direction and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Interface with customers and stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Conduct thorough analysis and testing of mechanical systems to validate performance and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with other teams to integrate mechanical designs with other system components.

Your profile:

• You have proven experience in designing and developing mechanical systems.
• You are proficient in using CAD software and other engineering tools for design and analysis such as Fusion 360, Siemens NX, Catia in a product development environment.
• You have experience in GD&T, PLM-systems, and best practices thereof.
• You have experience in design for manufacturing.
• You prefer to work in teams and are comfortable with a fast-paced work environment with tight deadlines.
• You have strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• You have good interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interface with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• You have strong communication skills in English and Swedish (written and spoken).

It is a plus if you:

• Have a MSc or PhD in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in leading and mentoring a team of engineers, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Have experience from developing battery systems/high voltage electronics
• You have experience with renewable energy systems
