As an economist with us, you will play a key role in our finance function. You will be responsible for financial statements, payroll management, and other critical financial processes. The role involves both operational and strategic tasks where you will work independently and closely with our team. The position is at our headquarters in Luleå.

What you will do:

• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable, ledger entries, and reconciliations.
• Manage payroll, including salary payments, taxes, and pension administration
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Continuously improve our financial processes and routines
• Analyze and report financial key figures to the management team
• Ensure compliance with current laws and regulations in accounting and payroll administration

What We Are Looking For:

• Relevant education or previous work experience in financial statements and payroll management
• Knowledge of accounting and financial management
• Proficiency in working with financial systems and digital tools like Fortnox
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in Swedish and English.
